Here are a few bits about me…

I married this cute guy. He was my first kiss, is my best friend,
my personal chef (he makes the best homemade bread!) and he makes
me laugh when I feel blue. Things do get better as they age.

I’m a mama to two sweet and quirky girls. They put a smile on my
face every single day, with their original thoughts and silly sense of humor.

I love lemon desserts.
I once found 2 four leaf clovers in one day. Maybe I’m lucky.
This was my daughter’s first rainbow that she ever saw.
I make a mean chocolate chip cookie.

A woman found this coral heart on the beach at my father’s memorial, and gave it to me.
I now collect heart shaped rocks.

After 7 years of bears, aurora borealis, buckets of rain, and cold toes,
I moved from Southeast Alaska back to my hometown, Kona, Hawaii.
I’ve traded in my rain coat and extra tuffs (aka rubber boots)
for a pair of slippers, and a teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini.

I’ve been shooting since the film era, and love what I do.

I like to find something to enjoy everyday.

I stare in silence at the pictures in the frame, and remember those moments, reliving them again. As though so many yesterdays were alive once more, and I, the memory maker, knocking hopeful at their door. -  6/28/97
