PSALM OINES PHOTOGRAPHY/PERSONAL-What little fingers find.
I remember when I was a little girl that I would find myself lost in some sort of treasure hunt. Whether it was floating in the ocean and fingering through the
small shells at the shoreline. Or rifling through my mom’s jewelry wondering which pieces I’d someday inherit and sell, to buy a home (of course).
I always wanted to find the end of the rainbow. To search the horizon for the spout of a whale. I would lie for hours under the night sky, waiting for a
shooting star to shout its brilliance across a dark and speckled canvas. I seemed to always be searching for some kind of wonder. Life was new, and beautiful.
And now, I see that same wonder and amazement in my daughters, and it brings me joy. And I have found my treasures.
